Tibetan Buddhist Temple
The
Temple of Buddhadharma includes a meditation hall, a garden and a
library to further the study and practice of Tibetan Buddhism.
Instruction includes traditional meditative/contemplative practice
revealed through the Longchen Nyingthig lineage as taught by Adzom
Paylo Rinpoche. We also host visiting Rinpoches, scholars, and teachers.
Weekly
practice, classes and meditation instruction have been offered at
Copper Mountain by Founding Directors Carol A. Hoy and David Paul Boaz
since January 1999 under authority and guidance of Adzom Paylo
Rinpoche. Carol Hoy is resident meditation teacher.
All are welcome!

Art and Healing Center
The
Tara Art and Healing Center is the community aspect of Copper Mountain
Institute. Instruction and periodic workshops are led by qualified
individuals in art, theatre, movement therapy and bodywork. Both
Eastern and Western disciplines are offered with a contemplative
orientation.

Research Institute
The
Clear Light Institute for Integral Studies provides facilities and
support, including a four thousand volume East/West library of
philosophy, psychology and religious and integral studies. We sponsor
seminars and symposia for visiting scholars and teachers.

Our Purpose
Copper
Mountain Institute promotes the healing and growth of our immediate and
extended community through the study and practice of Tibetan Buddhist
wisdom. This ancient tradition emphasizes the union of compassion and
wisdom, and provides a path of contemplative study and meditation
training to that end.
Copper
Mountain Institute is a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt New Mexico Corporation
and a registered New Mexico Charity. We help provide financial support
for Adzom Rinpoche's cultural and humanitarian activites in Tibet. We
serve our local community through meditation instruction, religious
studies, hospice support and art and healing programs. We are supported
solely by our fundraising activities, and the generosity of our donors.
Donations are tax exempt. |
